Founded by Cherise Letson, a writer, tarot reader, and jewelry maker from Canada’s East Coast, Almost Magick is the culmination of years spent exploring the unseen. Her journey started as a teenager, the moment her aunt laid out a deck of Lenormand cards and cracked something open. Since then, she’s followed a winding path through tarot, energy work, and her own Slavic ancestral threads — always guided by resonance over trend, intention over aesthetic.

With a journalist’s precision and a deep love for loud music, Cherise sees language and rhythm as the most potent forms of magick. That belief runs through everything she touches — from the words she writes to the jewelry she makes. She’s not here for the performance. By day, she’s the Account Director at Milberry Marketing and the co-host of Strange Grooves, a podcast for vinyl heads and sonic weirdos.
